      • Stratford is home to headquarters of Sikorsky Aircraft, a Lockheed Martin subsidiary. Igor Sikorsky was the developer of the first successful American helicopter
      • It is also home to Two Roads Brewing Company, Athletic Brewing Co, Boothe Memorial Park, National Helicopter Museum, and the seawall in Lordship
      • Annual events include Blues on the Beach, live music at the gazebo in Paradise Green, farmers markets and Stratford Day
      • Very walkable town with sidewalks throughout most neighborhoods
